There’s a lot of work that goes into creating a fynbos bouquet.
Aside from picking and transporting the fynbos to packsheds, once at the packshed, fynbos is cleaned (and sometimes dyed). Then bouquet makers use their creativity, and create bouquets for different markets.
Bouquets are then cut to size, boxed, and then transported across the world. It’s a physical job that requires strong hands, and of course a creative flair.
So here’s the next step in our journey from the veld to the vase this Floral Design Day.
See the packshed’s role in creating a fynbos bouquet, including bouquet-making in action.
